The mixed currant aromatics hit you right in the first sip, and that stewed fruit sweetness carries through beautifully without getting cloying. It's become my weekday morning ritual, and the citrus acidity keeps every cup feeling bright instead of heavy.
The tea-like finish is what got me—it lingers just long enough after that stewed fruit sweetness to keep every sip interesting. I’ve been brewing it in my pour-over and the mixed currant aromatics come through exactly as described.
The citrus acidity on this one is bright enough to wake you up, but that tea-like finish keeps it from being too sharp — perfect for a slow morning cup. I've brewed it both hot and as a cold brew, and the stewed fruit sweetness really comes through either way.
