Deze koffie heeft een zoet en sappig karakter met tonen van tropisch fruit en een thee-achtige afdronk.

Deze partij SL14, SL28 en oudere regionale landrassen werd bij ons gebracht via Agri Evolve, een importeur gespecialiseerd in hoogwaardige Oegandese koffies. Mahango was een van de eerste boerengemeenschappen waarmee ze gingen samenwerken. Agri Evolve koopt rode koffiebessen rechtstreeks van kleine boeren bij hun lokale inkoopcentrum. De parchment wordt vervolgens vervoerd naar het Naybirongo-koffiestation voor verwerking.
