케냐의 커피 생산은 두 가지 상반된 방식으로 이루어집니다. 대부분의 커피는 1/8~1/4헥타르 규모의 소규모 농장을 운영하는 소작농이 재배하며, 이들은 지역 워싱 스테이션에서 수확물을 처리합니다. 반대편에는 Riara Estate와 같은 대규모 농장이 있는데, 이곳에서는 74헥타르의 부지와 약 80,000그루의 커피나무에서 자체적으로 커피를 재배하고 가공합니다.
