It’s noticeably heavier than the plastic pour-over I used before, which actually makes it feel sturdier on the counter. The thick borosilicate keeps the slurry hot right through the last pour, and the plastic base doesn’t wobble at all. Exactly what I wanted for my morning ritual.
The glass body holds heat so well that my second pour stays piping hot, and the plastic base keeps it stable on the counter without sliding around. I’ve used plastic drippers before, but this one feels far more substantial and the thicker walls make a real difference in the cup.
The thick borosilicate glass feels genuinely premium in hand, and it holds heat so well that my second pour stays hot without re-boiling. The plastic base is a small compromise, but it makes the whole thing stable enough for my clumsy mornings.
