Denna mexikanska blandning erbjuder en ljus, grön fruktsyra som balanseras av en nötig, syltliknande sötma i avslutningen.

I slutet av 1800-talet ville Mexikos president Porfirio Díaz modernisera Mexiko och locka till sig europeiskt kapital, expertis och nybyggare. Som en del av detta initiativ bjöds över 450 tyska familjer in att flytta till Soconusco-regionen i södra Mexiko för att odla kaffe. Ungefär 70 % av kaffet som odlades här exporterades tillbaka till Tyskland. Finca Guadelupe Zaju bär detta arv och ägdes av tyska familjer ända fram till 2003, då det köptes av sin nuvarande ägare – Teddy Esteve.
