Deze Mexicaanse mixed lot biedt een heldere, groene fruitzuurgraad, in balans gebracht door een nootachtige, jamachtige zoetheid in de afdronk.

In de late 19e eeuw wilde de Mexicaanse president Porfirio Díaz Mexico moderniseren en Europees kapitaal, expertise en kolonisten aantrekken. Onderdeel van dit initiatief was het uitnodigen van meer dan 450 Duitse families om zich te vestigen in de regio Soconusco in Zuid-Mexico om koffie te verbouwen. Ongeveer 70% van de hier geteelde koffie werd teruggeëxporteerd naar Duitsland. Finca Guadelupe Zaju draagt deze erfenis en was tot 2003 in Duitse handen, toen het werd gekocht door de huidige eigenaar—Teddy Esteve.
