Este lote mixto mexicano ofrece una brillante acidez a fruta verde equilibrada con un dulzor a mermelada y frutos secos en el final.

A finales del siglo XIX, el presidente mexicano Porfirio Díaz quería modernizar México y atraer capital, experiencia y colonos europeos. Parte de esta iniciativa consistió en invitar a más de 450 familias alemanas a reubicarse en la región del Soconusco, en el sur de México, para cultivar café. Alrededor del 70 % del café cultivado aquí se exportaba a Alemania. Finca Guadelupe Zaju conserva esta herencia y fue propiedad de familias alemanas hasta 2003, cuando fue adquirida por su actual propietario, Teddy Esteve.
